Girls Sports and Leadership Camp

Over the course of five days, Her Next Play teamed up with the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation department and the Minnesota Twins to deliver the basic skills of life-long non-traditional sports activities.

The first week, the camp offered whiffle ball, boxing, biking, broomball, and sailing, as well as swimming, volleyball, pickleball, kickball, and more. Along with the physical sports activities, we incorporated the Her Next Play: Play Bold curriculum to develop leadership and mindset skills that helped the girl athletes grow as players and as leaders in an inspiring, brave, and supportive environment.
